In the south west end of Ibiza, you’ll find the church of Es Cubells which was erected in 1959, but has preserved the style of the other one hundred churches on the island.
It is, therefore, a classic Ibizan style church, with a parish house and office integrated into its construction. It has a central nave with side chapels and particularly noteworthy are the buttresses on one of its sides and the lack of an external porch, like the church of Sant Agustí which is not far away from it.
The parish festival is held on the 16th July, the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
