Every summer Ibiza shines bright with every colour of the rainbow as it heralds the arrival of Ibiza Pride when the whole LGTBIQ + movement comes together to celebrate and claim their rights in Ibiza, a place that has always been synonymous with freedom and equality.

Ibiza Pride 2024 is a special occasion this year as it will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with 9 days of pride affirming activities from 7 to 15 June. The first event in the festivities will take place on 7 June at 10 pm in Sant Antoni de Portmany with a parade along the Passeig de Ses Fonts in a joyful, spectacular and colourful procession ending with a huge fiesta at 11.45 pm.

This great celebration of diversity will continue on Saturday 8 June with the Diversity Celebration Gala also held in Sant Antoni de Portmany at s’Arenal Beach from 8pm to 1 am. This stunning scenario on the sea shore will be host to a number of shows, with singers and dancers, and of course a DJ.

The fun continues in Sant Josep de sa Talaia in the Cal de s’Oli Concert hall with the Young and Proud Festival which welcomes young people and their families with live music, dance and entertainment master classes, and with food trucks serving snacks and food from 7 to 11 pm.

The city of Ibiza is the final location for a number of events from 11 to 15 June that celebrate and uphold gay rights, equality and respect. On 11 June,  the first of these will be a talk at 8,30 pm in the Casal de Igualtat which addresses issues such as sexual health and diversity in education, presented by professionals in the sector.

On 12 June, the Gran Pregón will be held, a ceremony that officially opens the festivities in Portal de ses Taules with LGBTIQ + associations and a host of artistes taking part in an event that promises plenty of fun and excitement. On 13 June, el Casal de Igualtat will host an evening of Dramatised Poetry Performance by Chuck Becaire at 8,30 pm, while on Friday 14 June, the port of Ibiza will set the scene for a Queens’ Drag Night Gala, an event that is open to everyone with entertaining shows and featuring the best drag queens, from 10 pm to just before midnight.  The grand finale of the festivities on 15 June will be the Great LGBTIQ+ March along a route starting out at Avenida de Santa Eulária and the Port of Ibiza at 7 pm with the marchers claiming their rights. Finally, in the port of Ibiza at the pirates monument there will be a Visibility Scenario, namely, a huge party with live music and entertainment which ends at 11,59 pm.
