In the coming months, Ibiza Travel will be carrying out different tourism promotion actions, including its presence at the international trade fairs World Travel Market and IBTM World.
Presence at the WTM and IBTM World trade fairs
Ibiza Travel will once again exhibit its own stand at two leading events in November: the World Travel Market and the IBTM World fairs.
The first one is the leading tourism fair in the British market for industry professionals only and will be held from 5th to 7th November. At the WTM 2024, Ibiza Travel will have its own 116m2 stand with 9 co-exhibitors from the island: the Town Councils of Ibiza, Santa Eulària, Sant Antoni and Sant Josep; and the hotel companies Mondrian & Hyde Ibiza, Invisa Hotels, Vibra Hotels, OD Group and THB Hotels.
The other big, anticipated event is the IBTM, one of the biggest trade fairs devoted to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions tourism) held in Barcelona from 19th till 21st November. This year, Ibiza Travel will set up a 103m2 stand with 19 co-exhibitors from the island’s MICE industry. Aside from the Ibiza Convention Bureau, the conference venue Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza and the trade fair premises Recinto Ferial FECOEV, other hospitality establishments will also exhibit at the stand, including Insotel Fenicia Prestige Suites & Spa, Invisa Hotels, Meliá Hotels, OD Group, Sirenis Hotels & Resorts, THB Hotels, Fergus Hotels, 7Pines, Aguas de Ibiza, Hyde Ibiza, Hotel Mongibello Ibiza, Hotel Riomar and Hotel Torre del Mar; as well as the specialised agencies Azurée Ibiza Events, Kontiki and LifeXperiences.
Training Webinars
In the coming months, Ibiza Travel will take part in two online seminars about Ibiza as a holiday destination. These training webinars are for national and Indian travel agents in partnership with Hosteltur and the Spanish Tourism Office in India, respectively.
Tourespaña Industry Days
Ibiza Travel will take part in the industry days to support trade. These days are organised by Turespaña and this year will focus on three markets: Latin America (Barcelona, 28th-31st October), South-eastern Asia (Singapore, 18th-20th November) and China (Shanghai, 20th-22nd November). This will be a fantastic opportunity to promote this destination among industry professionals from the consolidator markets mentioned.
