During the last quarter of the year, the Department for Tourism Promotion will attend the World Travel Market event and the Tourespaña Industry Days aimed at supporting market expansion in China, aside from preparing the first two trade fairs planned for 2026: FITUR and ITB Promotional actions in addition to the new audiovisual training workshop offered by the Ibiza Film Commission in November.
Ibiza Travel will be at World Travel Market
The Department for Tourism Promotion will be returning to the World Travel Mar-ket London event from 4th to 6th November and will once again share its own stand with all the island’s Town Councils and hotel chains Invisa Hoteles, Vibra Hotels, THB Hotels, OD Hotels, Concept Hotel Group. Besides the meetings with profession-als from this industry to be held at the stand, the Department will be offering a press breakfast outside the event venue for 15 British media outlets, to introduce the lat-est services and products available on the island and the recent actions taken against unauthorised holiday businesses.
Tourespaña Industry Days to support the Chinese market
From 17th until 20th November, the Department for Tourism Promotion will be at-tending the industry days organised to boost market expansion in China. A fabulous opportunity to showcase the appeals of the vast holiday offering in Ibiza to busi-nesses and professionals from the tourism industry in China. This action adds to the industry days held in Shanghai last November 2024 to support market expansion there and which the Department also attended.
Preparing: FITUR and ITB
The Department for Tourism Promotion has already begun to prepare for the events and meetings planned with industry professionals at the most important fairs during the first quarter of 2026: FITUR (Madrid, 21-25 January) and ITB (Berlin, 3-5 March). In both cases, Ibiza Travel will have its own stand together with institutions and businesses from the island’s tourism industry.
Rodolphe Sanzé will be leading the new audiovisual workshop organised by the Ibiza Film Commission
This coming 6th November, professionals from the Ibizan audiovisual industry will be able to attend the workshop offered by the French film producer Rodolphe Sanzé. This international executive producer has over 18 years’ experience in the film and audiovisual industry in Spain and Europe.
This new workshop is directly aligned with the Ibiza Film Commission’s mission to consolidate the island as a global filming location and support emerging local pro-ducers, technicians and professionals with specialised training to help them acquire the skills required to gain a competitive edge and stand out in global forums, mar-kets and festivals.
