Es Amunts is an interpretation center in the north of Ibiza that collects in its scarcely 150m2 a representation of the environmental, geographical, and cultural values found in the 15,000 hectares of mountain region on the north of the island. It holds a representation of the water landscape, cliffs, forests, and traditional architecture.
The main objective of the center is to raise awareness and create admiration for this part of the island, recognize its value, and contribute to its preservation. The structure of the interpretation center is made of stone and glass, with large picture windows that favor the entrance of natural light. These elements give visitors the feeling of being immersed in the environment.
It has an exhibition hall, an audiovisual projection room, and a botanic garden that represents Es Amunts’ landscape.
