Sa Cova des Vi is a small rock shelter located on the coast, 50 m above sea level. In the inside, there are remains of the only cave paintings existing in the Pityusic Islands (Ibiza and Formentera). They were discovered by Abbot H. Breuil in 1917, and they were probably made during the Punic period (4th-6th centuries BC).
Today, they are duly protected, and synthetic resin replicas of the originals have been made in the inside. They are perfectly visible from the outside.
