Ibiza, the perfect setting for saying “I do”

The island of Ibiza is the perfect place to celebrate one of the most important days in the life of a couple as it offers all sorts of options for organising weddings of all different kinds: civil, religious, spiritual, traditional, avant-garde, free or with all the guests dressed in white.

The island of Ibiza is the perfect place to celebrate one of the most important days in the life of a couple as it offers all sorts of options for organising weddings of all different kinds: civil, religious, spiritual, traditional, avant-garde, free or with all the guests dressed in white.

In order to publicise all the wedding options available on the island and the formalities to follow in order to carry them out, the Consell d’Eivissa has set up the website www.ibizadestinobodas.net, where it tells future brides and grooms how to go about organising the ceremony, whatever option they may have chosen. Not surprisingly, over the last decade, the number of couples from all over the world choosing the Pityusic Islands as the venue for their wedding has increased fivefold.

Moreover, to ensure all the details are perfect, there is an event that no couple should miss: Ibiza Bridal Week, a boutique fair where the bride and groom will have the chance to access quality information, hire the necessary services for the event and take part in intensive workshops to prepare themselves for their wedding day. This bridal show, which will take place for the third time on 16 and 17 March at the Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza, in the town of Santa Eulària des Riu, is the ideal event for those planning to get married on the island in the coming months.

The main sponsor of this show for future couples will be the Adlib Moda Ibiza label, which brings together around 30 designers who defend a different idea of fashion in their Ibizan workshops and whose aim is to become a benchmark for quality, within the framework of a new textile revolution where they recover the values of their origins: offering sustainable fashion, creating personalised garments and accessories and dressing people of all ages and countries with freedom and good taste. To this end, the Consell d´Eivissa will organise catwalks during the weekend, where some of the main firms on the island specialising in the bridal sector will parade.
