Festivities of Sant Agustí des Vedrà

Sant Agustí celebrates its festivity with a program filled with activities for people of all ages.

When the Kingdom of Aragon conquered Ibiza on August 8, 1235, the Catalans destroyed the Arab mosque and built the cathedral. The villages of the island took Christian saints names, and a large number of churches were built.

Every year, on the day of the saint of each village and town in Ibiza, there is a great popular celebration in which tradition, culture, and sports are present. There is also a festivity program filled with activities for people of all ages.
