To really discover the amazing aspects of the island, we invite you to plunge headfirst into these adventures:
One- Purpose
The aim of the Consell Insular d'Eivissa with this competition is for tourists to "give back" to the island a little of what it has gifted to them.
Two- Participants
Any person over the age of 18 years is eligible, provided that they are not resident in the island of Ibiza, and that they are not directly or indirectly linked to any promotional activity of the island of Ibiza.
Three- Subject
The theme of the competition is publication of an Instagram photograph in which someone who loves Ibiza portrays the island by showing what they think makes the island different, special and unique, and in doing so, show through photographs of their experience what it is about the island that particularly captivates them (the beaches, the fields, woods, local cuisine, traditional architectures, craft markets...)
Four- Entries
Every entry published should include one of the following ten hashtags: #quierobienestar #quierosostenibilidad #quierohistoria #quierocuidar #quierodeporte #quierogastronomia #quierooriginalidad #quieronaturaleza #quierocultura #quieroartesania.
A maximum of ten entries per participant may be published (each with a different hashtag) and in the event that entrants upload more photos than the number stipulated, the first one published with each hashtag shall be entered in the competition.
Five- Form of participation
The photographs should be uploaded to Instagram and labelled @QuiereAIbiza.
Six- Publication date
Photographs may be published by the entrants from 1 July 2019 at 00.01 hours until 15 August 2019 at 23.59 hours.
As the images are published, they will be given a number so that the jury can judge the images without any information on their creator.
Seven- Publication of the images
El Consell Insular d’Eivissa and @QuiereAIbiza reserve the right to publish images in social networks as they are submitted.
Eight- Prize
The prize for the best image will consist of a trip to Ibiza (flights, accommodation and a series of experiences in Ibiza) for two persons with the following details:
- return flights to Ibiza for two persons (costing up to a maximum of €1,000 per person);
- two nights in agrotourism accommodation at Xereca including breakfast;
- dinner with tasting menu (local products with a modern touch) for two persons in Xereca restaurant;
- lunch with a traditional menu (entree, bullit de peix and arroz a banda and flaó and greixonera as desserts) for two persons at the Brisa de la Mar restaurant - with vegan option available.
- spa therapy treatment "Cascadas Suspendidas" and lunch (drinks included) at La Posidonia Spa at the Hotel Hacienda Na Xamena;
- trip in an eco-catamaran and picnic offered by La Bella Verde;
- one hour's horse riding in Santa Gertrudis offered by Horse Country Club Ibiza;
- guided hiking tour offered by Walking Ibiza.
The prize may be enjoyed between 20 September and 15 October 2019, dates to be chosen by the winner (subject to availability of the accommodation establishment).
The winners shall consent to take part, along with Consell Insular d'Eivissa, in an act attended by the local press to talk about their experience of taking part in the competition.
Nine- Jury
The jury shall comprise:
- Two representatives of the Consell Insular d'Eivissa
- A representative of the Department of Fires, Congressos i Esdeveniments d’Eivissa
- Two of the island's well-known personalities in the field of professional photography, marketing and/or social networks chosen by the President of the Consell Insular d’Eivissa
Ten- The Jury's decision
The jury will decide on the prize winner by 15 September 2019, at the latest, and will publish the list of participants and the winner on the website www.ibiza.travel/QuiereAIbiza .
Eleven- Prize presentation conditions
The person awarded the prize should accept within a maximum term of 15 days from the date on which the jury's decision is made, notifying at the same time the date on which the winner would like to enjoy the prize.
Failure to accept the prize means that it shall be forfeited and no claims or compensation claims may be made on expiry of this period.
Twelve- Publication of the rules
The competition rules will be published in the profile bio of @QuiereAIbiza de Instagram and www.ibiza.travel/QuiereAIbiza .
