Portinatx is a tourist area in the north of the island of Ibiza and is made up of three beaches which benefit from a lively and family-oriented atmosphere. S’Arenal Gros, S’Arenal Petit and Port de Portinatx. An area of beaches with white, fine sand and crystalline waters that offers numerous services for tourists such as hammock and beach umbrella rental, pedal boating and kayaking. And what’s more, in S’Arenal Gros there is a small water park. There is a promenade between the S’Arenal Gros and S’Arenal Petit beaches that is host to shops, bars and restaurants. Port de Portinatx is a beach that is ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving due to its abundant vegetation and marine fauna and, not far away, the Moscarter lighthouse can be found, accessible after a short walk.

S’Arenal Gros

Sea floor: Sand. Shallow depth with gentle, gradual increase.

S’Arenal Petit

Dimensions: 60 metres in length and 30 metres in width.

Orientation: North.

Shore: Natural, fine-grained, white sand.

Sea floor: Sand. Shallow depth with gentle, gradual increase.

Surroundings: Residential, touristic.

 

Port de Portinatx

Dimensions:  40 metres in length and 35 metres in width.

Orientation: West.

Shore: Natural, fine-grained, white sand.

Sea floor: Sand, pebbles and underwater vegetation. Shallow, sloping depth.

Surroundings: Natural, touristic.
